นิทรรศการศิลปะ เทิดพระคุณแม่เนื่องในวาระเฉลิมพระชนม์พรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถ จากใจตัวแทนศิลปินชมรมส่งเสริมสล่าล้านนา เกิดจากการรวมตัวของสล่าล้านนา ทั้งพ่อครู แม่ครู สล่าเก๊า สล่าหลวง สล่าหน่อแก้ว เพื่อรังสรรค์ผลงานศิลปหัตกรรมท้องถิ่นตามอัตลักษณ์ส่วนตน จรรโลงไว้ซึ่งภูมิปัญญา และ วัฒนธรรมล้านนา… ขอเชิญชมนิทรรศการศิลปะเทิดพระคุณแม่ เนื่องในวาระเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระบรมราชินีนาถโดยหอศิลป์ 116 ร่วมกับกลุ่มศิลปินล้านนา เสนอผลงานศิลปะจากความคิดสร้างสรร ถ่ายทอดความรักของแม่ ซึ่งผู้ชมจะได้สัมผัสและชื่นชมอย่างลึกซึ้ง ตั้งแต่วันที่ 9 – 31 สิงหาคม 2552 เวลา 11.00-19.00 น.
